Add a small amount of water and spread it evenly across the stone surface.
Use only on compatible A5 and D-Series comb blades; do not use on cutter blades or other blade types.
Work evenly across the comb blade surface with light, steady pressure.
Rinse and dry the blade thoroughly before storing.

Before use, add water to the whetstone surface and keep the stone damp while working.
Use light, even pressure across compatible comb blade surfaces.
After use, rinse the whetstone with water to remove residue.
Allow the whetstone to air dry completely in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
Use only water; do not apply oils or other lubricants.
Periodically check the stone surface and clean it if residue builds up.
